About

I didn't think I was addicted to my phone.

Sure, my wife would occasionally say "your always on your phone" whenever she was not on her phone. We were just on our phones at different times, I thought.

Then, I was shocked.

Average screen time 6.5 h/ day.

This was a wake up call.

6.5 h/ day wasted and nothing to show for it.

On second thought, I do have something to show for it.

Anxiety, depression, the feeling of never having enough all because of social media and this phone - had control over my life.

I had enough. I just had a beautiful new born baby boy and I had a choice to make. Waste 6+ hours a day or invest that time with my family.

The choice was easy. The behavioral change was hard.

Let's face it. We've become hooked—hooked on screens, notifications, and the endless digital noise that fills up our lives.

We did not sign up for this but its a fact of our environments now.

Technology addiction isn't just a buzzword; it's a reality that's stealing our time, attention, and well-being.

Remember when we could sit through a meal without checking our phones? When weekends were for real relaxation, not just endless scrolling social media?

Introducing Sabbath Space.
